Beta service

The Finance Friend is currently being evaluated by invited UK business owners, directors, property owners and financially complex households. Features may change and availability is not guaranteed. Keep source statements and independent records.

Information, not advice

Calculations and observations provide general information. They are not personal financial, tax, accounting, investment, lending or legal advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy, sell, borrow or enter a transaction.

Tax estimates depend on the assumptions, tax year and rates displayed with the result. Verify material decisions with a qualified UK accountant or other appropriately authorised professional.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for checking imported transaction counts, excluded rows, balance reconciliation, account ownership and calculation inputs. Do not rely on The Finance Friend as the only copy of a statutory, tax or accounting record.

Acceptable use

Upload only files you are entitled to store. Do not upload malware, executable content, unlawful material or another person’s financial information without authority. Do not attempt to access another user’s records or bypass service controls.

Ending use

You may delete your workspace in The Finance Friend from the workspace menu. ChatGPT account deletion and account recovery are managed separately by the account provider.
